Before Treatment

If you have had any recent medical tests, imaging, a history of surgery, cancer treatment, or are currently receiving other treatments, please inform your acupuncturist.
During Treatment
Needle sensations vary from person to person. Mild pain or soreness during insertion may occur and is normal.
In general, the more relaxed you are, the milder the sensation.
Navel Acupuncture is a safe acupuncture treatment. Please stay relaxed and avoid unnecessary tension.
After Treatment
Rest after treatment. Drinking warm water may help support circulation and systemic regulation. Please avoid excessive exertion and exposure to cold or wind.
For multi-site or complex pain, changes may occur gradually and across multiple areas, rather than at a single location.
Some patients may experience temporary fatigue, soreness, emotional release, or changes in pain distribution after returning home, usually on the following day or later.
