🌿How Does Navel Acupuncture Treat Hand & Finger
?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, hand and finger pain is often related to the regulation of Qi and blood, the functional state of the internal organs, and the coordination of the meridian system, rather than a single local finger joint or tendon issue.

Navel Acupuncture works through whole-body regulation, helping rebalance Qi and blood, support organ function, and harmonize meridian pathways that influence the hand, fingers, and upper limb.

Once the specific pain pattern and involved area are identified, navel acupuncture can often relieve hand and finger pain rapidly—sometimes within the same treatment session—while improving circulation, sensation, and functional use of the hand.

🌿How Many Treatments Are Usually Needed?

Every hand and finger pain condition is different. Treatment is individualized.
The following are general clinical references:

Acute hand or finger pain
Often shows clear improvement within 1–3 sessions.

Chronic or recurrent hand and finger pain
Commonly stabilizes after 3–6 sessions.

Hand and finger pain related to arthritis
(Degenerative or inflammatory joint changes)
Response varies depending on joint condition, symptom severity, and overall health status.
Treatment plans are individualized, and the number of sessions is determined case by case.

Stubborn or complex hand and finger pain
(Long history, multiple contributing factors)
Usually requires 1–2 courses of treatment, about 5–10 sessions.

Hand and finger pain related to trauma or surgery
Requires individualized evaluation based on medical findings.
The number of sessions varies from case to case.

🌿 Treatment Notes

Before Treatment

Please review the precautions for Navel Acupuncture before treatment.

If you have had any recent medical tests, imaging, or are currently receiving other treatments, please inform your acupuncturist.

During Treatment

Needle sensations vary from person to person. Mild pain or soreness during insertion may occur and is normal.
In general, the more relaxed you are, the milder the sensation.

Navel Acupuncture is a safe acupuncture treatment. Please stay relaxed and avoid unnecessary tension.

After Treatment

Rest after treatment. Drinking warm water may help support circulation and metabolic adjustment. Please avoid excessive exertion and exposure to cold or wind.

Many hand and finger pain patients notice improvement during the same treatment session.
In rare cases involving more complex conditions—such as arthritis-related pain—some patients may experience temporary soreness, stiffness, fatigue, or mild changes in hand or finger sensation after returning home, usually on the following day or later.

These are considered healing responses. Please do not be overly concerned and return for follow-up assessment as needed.
